About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, build, and validate predictive models using Machine Learning techniques.
- Apply NLP and Generative AI techniques to develop data-driven and natural language-based solutions.
- Work with Transformers, embeddings, semantic search, and RAG architectures.
- Develop LLM-powered applications using frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Evaluate the quality and reliability of AI applications, considering response accuracy, hallucinations, security, privacy, and the implementation of guardrails.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of models and applications in production.
- Follow best practices for code version control and collaborate with teams involved in solution development.
- Investigate issues, propose improvements, and contribute to the continuous evolution of Artificial Intelligence applications.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Python, SQL, statistics, and Machine Learning.
- Hands-on experience building and validating predictive models.
- Hands-on experience with NLP and Generative AI.
- Knowledge of Transformers and libraries such as Hugging Face.
- Experience with embeddings, semantic search, and RAG architectures.
- Knowledge of at least one framework for orchestrating LLM applications, such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience evaluating LLM-based applications, considering response quality, hallucinations, security, privacy, and guardrails.
- Knowledge of Git and the ability to support the deployment and monitoring of solutions in production.
- Technical autonomy, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
- Experience processing clinical text and unstructured documents.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation techniques, including LLM-as-a-Judge.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, MLflow, Docker, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of inference APIs, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Experience with the Azure cloud environment.
- Experience with healthcare data, Brazil’s LGPD, clinical validation, interoperability, and clinical data quality.
