About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform analysis, control, and monitoring of financial routines
- Ensure the accuracy of information and compliance with deadlines
- Support management in preparing analyses and reports and identifying improvement opportunities
- Perform bank reconciliations, statement reviews, and financial postings
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare, update, and analyze financial reports, income statements, and performance indicators
- Support the preparation and monitoring of cash flow, forecasts, and budgets
- Analyze expenses and revenue and identify variances from the plan
- Support accounting and financial closing processes
- Validate and review tax and financial documents
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improvements to financial processes
- Keep financial controls, files, and documents organized and up to date
- Support management in analyzing financial data for strategic decision-making
- Work collaboratively with Accounting, Tax, Procurement, and other related departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Previous experience in financial operations
- Advanced Excel proficiency for analyzing and manipulating financial data, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and advanced features
- Knowledge of ERP tools and financial systems is desirable
- Strong organizational and control skills to keep information and processes up to date
- Keen attention to detail and rigor when reviewing data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and objectively
- Ability to manage multiple demands and simultaneous deadlines
- Sense of urgency to meet financial and tax deadlines
- Proactive approach to anticipating risks and proposing solutions
- Ability to identify critical demands and prioritize activities
- Analytical, organized, proactive, and results-oriented profile, with a critical perspective on financial processes
- Availability to work on-site in Cidade Monções, São Paulo, Brazil
