About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Map corporate risks and operations
- Develop and review information security policies
- Define the internal audit framework and execute the scheduled audit plan
- Support audits requested by clients and market regulatory bodies
- Lead business continuity assessments by conducting practical DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) exercises
- Conduct supplier security assessments (vendor risk management)
- Build dashboards featuring risk indices and ratings specific to each operation
- Mitigate risks by recommending compensating plans and monitoring the implementation of action plans
- Issue formal letters and risk communications to legally protect the company when a client does not comply with requirements
- Prepare executive presentations for clients, support the establishment of risk committees, and create supplier catalogs focused on incident response
- Lead corporate crisis management and support direct technical communication with clients during incident response crises
- Review and recommend contractual improvements focused on security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
- Experience with internal and external audits
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance
- Ability to develop and review information security policies
- Ability to conduct business continuity assessments
- Experience with supplier security assessments
- Ability to build dashboards featuring risk indices and ratings specific to each operation
- Information security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) — a plus
- Experience in corporate crisis management — a plus
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (LGPD, GDPR, etc.) — a plus
- Ability to prepare executive presentations for clients — a plus
- Experience reviewing and improving contracts with a focus on security — a plus
