About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle and investigate tickets related to data, reports, Power BI, and insurance metrics
- Support cooperatives and business areas in understanding and interpreting data
- Investigate discrepancies or questions, determining whether they are related to data, business rules, or interpretation of metrics
- Perform queries and analyses using SQL
- Explore databases to investigate scenarios and answer users’ questions
- Communicate analyses and conclusions in a clear, accessible manner to non-technical audiences
- Perform minor automations and data processing using Python when necessary
- Identify recurring tickets and opportunities to improve data, reports, or documentation
- Organize and track requests, maintaining clarity regarding activities, priorities, and blockers
- Engage other team members when more technically in-depth analysis is required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Availability for hybrid work, with on-site presence at CAS three times per week
- Based in Porto Alegre, RS, or the surrounding region
- Previous experience in data analysis
- Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to independently perform data queries and investigations
- Knowledge of Power BI for navigating, validating, and investigating information
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate problems effectively
- Strong communication skills, including with non-technical audiences
- Autonomy and organizational skills to manage daily responsibilities
- Ability to understand business rules and relate them to data
- Interest in and willingness to develop technical expertise in the Data field
- Python for minor automations and data manipulation is desirable
- Databricks is desirable
- Basic knowledge of Lake/Lakehouse environments is desirable
- Experience with Jira or request-management tools is desirable
- Experience in the insurance market or at an insurance brokerage is a plus
- Knowledge of insurance products, metrics, processes, and business rules is a plus
- Experience working with cooperatives is a plus
