About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the maintenance and evolution of the monitoring and observability environment
- Monitor alerts, metrics, and events, assisting in the proactive identification of anomalies
- Help build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and strategic indicators
- Apply SRE concepts and culture on a daily basis to support service availability
- Collaborate with technical teams on incident investigation and root cause analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid conceptual or practical knowledge of SRE
- Understanding of SLI, SLO, and SLA, with a focus on reliability
- Understanding of the pillars of observability: Metrics, Logs, and Traces
- Practical or academic experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix
- Basic proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems and IT infrastructure
- Preferred: experience with or knowledge of Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Azure Monitor
- Preferred: knowledge of automation and scripting using Shell Script or Python
- Preferred: knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, WebSphere, and Load Balancers
- Preferred: introductory courses or certifications in Cloud or monitoring tools
