About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and enhance systems in a Mainframe environment
- Analyze, develop, maintain, and support COBOL applications
- Develop and maintain online routines using CICS
- Develop and execute batch processes using JCL
- Perform queries, updates, and maintenance on DB2 z/OS databases
- Work with VSAM files
- Monitor and track processes using Control-M
- Work with the Monetary module of the B2k system
- Participate in teams that use Agile methodologies
- Support the identification and resolution of technical issues
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements
- Contribute to the quality, stability, and evolution of solutions
- Document changes, solutions, and technical procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in Software Engineering
- Relevant experience with Mainframe environments and/or COBOL-based languages
- Experience with COBOL
- Experience with CICS
- Experience with batch processing
- Experience with JCL
- Experience with TSO
- Experience with B2k, especially the Monetary module
- Experience with DB2 z/OS
- Experience with VSAM files
- Experience with Control-M
- Experience working in teams that use Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of or experience in the Bradesco environment is a plus
- Collaborative and proactive approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and solve problems in a structured manner
