About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Model and structure databases, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes according to data design best practices
  • Work on the integration and processing of large volumes of data using Big Data and cloud ecosystems
  • Apply mathematical and statistical concepts to support advanced analytics and prepare data for Machine Learning models
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and flow monitoring through observability tools
  • Collaborate with Analytics, BI, and Data Science teams to support architecture and information delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Basic knowledge of Java
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and ADLS
  • Strong understanding of Big Data, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and ETL/ELT concepts
  • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data mining
  • Understanding of data architecture design patterns
  • Understanding of basic mathematical and statistical calculations and Machine Learning algorithms
  • Knowledge of tools and practices for monitoring and observing data and pipelines
