About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and communicate the vision for data products, ensuring alignment with the business’s strategic objectives
- Structure, prioritize, and manage the Product Backlog based on value, impact, and business needs
- Serve as a bridge between business areas and technical teams, including Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, and Data Science
- Translate customer and business needs into requirements, User Stories, and acceptance criteria
- Lead Discovery, refinement sessions, ceremonies, and alignment meetings with different stakeholders
- Facilitate communication across teams and support the management of dependencies and impediments
- Track success metrics and KPIs, ensuring incremental, results-oriented deliveries
- Support the evolution of data product roadmaps and strategies
- Contribute to initiatives related to the adoption, governance, quality, and scalability of data solutions
- Foster a collaborative approach focused on delivering value to the customer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or in related data product/project management roles
- Experience with data products, Analytics, Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, or Data Governance
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, applied to data teams and initiatives
- Ability to transform business needs into data solutions, User Stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, analysts, data scientists, and BI professionals
- Experience managing roadmaps, Discovery, and backlogs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across different organizational levels and departments
- Knowledge of or experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus
- Experience in data product and data platform environments is a plus
- Experience with data governance, quality, and scalability initiatives is a plus
- Experience with data projects in the healthcare sector is a plus
