About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a senior attorney at a technology consulting and services company, interacting with business teams, executives, and strategic clients
- Structure, negotiate, and manage contracts for technology services and solutions, including software, digital transformation, outsourcing, cloud, cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence
- Draft, analyze, review, and negotiate domestic and international contracts
- Lead complex negotiations with clients, partners, suppliers, and third parties
- Provide legal advice to the Sales, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Information Security, Compliance, and other business teams
- Participate in strategic negotiation meetings with internal and external clients, representing the Legal team
- Identify, assess, and propose strategies to mitigate legal risks
- Prepare legal opinions and memoranda on contractual and regulatory matters and legal risks
- Negotiate clauses concerning liability, indemnification, warranties, SLAs, intellectual property, Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), information security, confidentiality, termination, price adjustments, penalties, compliance, and anti-corruption
- Support new product, innovation, digital transformation, and Artificial Intelligence projects
- Contribute to the evolution of contract governance and processes
- Help prevent disputes and develop legal and business solutions
- Support document automation and the use of Artificial Intelligence in Legal operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Solid experience in commercial contracts, preferably more than 7 years
- Experience in technology, telecommunications, software, IT services, or consulting companies/law firms with a strong focus on corporate legal advisory work
- Experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts
- Strong knowledge of Civil, Corporate, and Contract Law
- Experience drafting legal opinions
- Experience negotiating directly with clients and executives
- Advanced English for reading, drafting, and contract negotiations
- Advanced Spanish for reading, drafting, and contract negotiations
- Experience with or familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applied to Legal operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
