Key responsibilities & impact

Manage large-scale strategic IT projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure
Develop and track schedules, project plans, budgets, risks, resources, and performance indicators
Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in accordance with established quality standards
Partner with business and technology teams to define priorities, objectives, requirements, and deliverables
Lead projects related to Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Digital Transformation
Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure local solutions align with global architecture and corporate guidelines
Monitor project progress, identifying risks, dependencies, impediments, and opportunities for improvement
Prepare and present executive reports, performance indicators, and status reports to leadership and global stakeholders
Promote clear and structured communication between local and international teams
Review technical and functional requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs
Negotiate priorities, manage conflicts, and support decision-making with stakeholders
Apply best practices in governance, portfolio management, and continuous improvement
Challenge existing processes and solutions, seeking operational efficiency, resource optimization, and business value creation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology
At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, leading complex IT projects
PMP (Project Management Professional – PMI) certification required
Proven experience managing global, strategic, and cross-functional projects
Experience in at least one of the following areas: Data Projects, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Digital Transformation
Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and hybrid models
Knowledge of governance, portfolio management, performance indicator tracking, and results monitoring
Experience mapping, analyzing, and reviewing processes
Strong planning, critical analysis, risk management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to negotiate, manage conflicts, and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with executive and global teams
Autonomy, organization, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in multicultural environments
Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Belo Horizonte (BH)
Conversational English
An MBA or postgraduate degree in Project Management, Technology, or a related field is a plus
Additional certifications in project management or Agile methodologies are a plus
Experience in industrial or manufacturing companies is a plus
Experience in multinational and multicultural environments is a plus
Knowledge of Portuguese or French is a plus
