About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze, configure, customize, and provide functional support for SAP FI financial modules
- Gather and analyze requirements with clients and stakeholders, proposing solutions aligned with business needs and SAP best practices
- Work on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial closing processes
- Perform functional configurations, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and technical and functional documentation
- Provide support to end users and technical teams, identifying root causes and proposing solutions
- Participate in implementation, upgrade, continuous improvement, and SAP system evolution projects
- Ensure the integration of financial processes with other SAP modules, especially MM and CO
- Lead meetings, alignment sessions, and technical discussions in English with international teams and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience as an SAP FI Functional Consultant in a corporate environment
- Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting processes, including GL (General Ledger), AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), and accounting and financial close
- Experience with SAP FI configuration, testing, support, and functional troubleshooting
- Knowledge of integrations between SAP FI and other modules, especially MM and CO
- Fluent English, with the ability to communicate orally and in writing in an international professional environment
- Strong communication and analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Preferred: experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Preferred: participation in SAP implementation, conversion, upgrade, or rollout projects
- Preferred: experience working on international projects and in multicultural environments
- Preferred: experience with continuous improvement and financial process optimization
