Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze functional and technical requirements documentation, identifying quality needs and criteria
Gather, analyze, and model test scenarios and test cases
Create and document test cases using Gherkin, BDD, and acceptance criteria
Request, prepare, and validate the test data required for test execution
Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts
Implement and execute automated tests using Appium and Selenium WebDriver
Perform functional and automated validation, identifying inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
Identify, log, track, and retest defects
Extract, analyze, and document test execution evidence and reports
Maintain and optimize automated scripts to improve efficiency and reliability
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to technical alignment and continuous improvement
Work with development, business, and quality teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience with software testing processes and life cycles, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing
Experience analyzing requirements, identifying scenarios, and developing test cases
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software quality practices
Experience with test and defect management and tracking tools such as HP ALM, Jira, and Octane
Hands-on experience automating tests using Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, BDD, Java, and Visual Basic
Experience working on projects and systems in the banking sector
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, failure-investigation, and problem-solving skills
Experience working on large-scale projects in the financial or banking sector
Knowledge of best practices for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development process
Knowledge of automation strategies for functional, regression, and integration testing
Analytical, organized, collaborative, and strong communicator
