About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work as a Mobile SDET to advance application quality
  • Accelerate the mobile automation strategy, expand coverage of critical flows, and strengthen release reliability
  • Design, develop, and enhance automation solutions
  • Contribute to the squads’ quality strategy
  • Support the adoption and expansion of the corporate Device Farm
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests for Android and iOS applications
  • Build and improve mobile automation frameworks, promoting reuse, scalability, and maintainability
  • Define and promote automation and quality engineering best practices across squads
  • Participate in defining the testing strategy by conducting risk analyses and supporting Shift-Left Testing and continuous quality initiatives
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated execution across different devices and versions
  • Monitor quality, coverage, stability, and test efficiency indicators, proposing continuous improvements
  • Investigate failures, analyze defects, and reduce manual regression effort
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, Platform, and Product Owner teams to strengthen release reliability and predictability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in mobile test automation
  • Advanced knowledge of Appium
  • Experience with Android and iOS applications
  • Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of REST APIs
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Experience analyzing failures and investigating defects
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication, autonomy, and collaborative working style
  • Preferred: experience with AWS Device Farm or similar tools
  • Preferred: knowledge of Robot Framework and/or Playwright
  • Preferred: experience with mobile performance testing
  • Preferred: knowledge of observability and monitoring
  • Preferred: experience with test architecture and quality strategies
  • Preferred: experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
  • Preferred: experience working in large-scale corporate environments and high-scale digital products
  • Preferred: experience with quality metrics and indicators
  • Preferred: continuous improvement mindset and ability to influence quality best practices
