About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product strategy and roadmap for the end-to-end student experience across D2C and B2B2C businesses
- Improve onboarding, live instruction, graduation, certification, and job outcomes
- Challenge assumptions and develop evidence-backed ideas to improve completion, certification pass rates, and job outcomes
- Partner with Student Experience teams to identify whether issues require product, process, or people solutions
- Conduct student interviews, usability sessions, and feedback loops
- Run A/B tests and rapid prototypes through a disciplined experimentation program
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to ship intuitive, mobile-friendly learner experiences
- Use AI and automation to provide personalized support at scale
- Define and track metrics for engagement, retention, completion, satisfaction/NPS, and job placement
- Partner with student success coaches, instructors, career services, design, engineering, data, and marketing
- Report directly to the Senior Director, Product Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of product management experience
- Strong track record building consumer-facing products
- Proven success moving engagement, retention, or conversion metrics for a large user base
- Strong product fundamentals: structured discovery, hypothesis-driven experimentation, focused prioritization, roadmap ownership, and clear documentation
- Deep user focus and ability to turn qualitative insights and complex data into product decisions
- Comfort with complex data sets and writing SQL
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to articulate tradeoffs, make decisions with imperfect information, and identify 80/20 opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in EdTech, healthcare, workforce development, or another mission-driven industry is a bonus
- Experience designing for adult learners, career changers, or underserved populations is a bonus
- Experience blending self-serve software with human support is a bonus
- Must work from the NYC office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday
