About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect, analyze, monitor, and report on organizational financial matters
- Manage and ensure compliance with financial policies, professional standards, and applicable laws
- Perform revenue accounting functions related to posting payments received
- Contact delinquent customers by phone to secure payment
- Assist with printing and mailing statements
- Review account histories with customers
- Post payments and manage adjustments for efficiency, timeliness, accuracy, control, and accountability
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and journal entries related to revenue accounting and accounts receivable
- Perform support functions for departmental processes
- Complete daily tasks and responsibilities according to defined procedures
- Address internal and external clients and team members
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Typically requires 0–2 years of related work experience
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to follow clearly defined procedures
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems
- Ability to perform revenue accounting, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and payment posting functions
