About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the development and evolution of Stitch Fix’s internal platform-as-a-service
- Build and maintain tooling that improves developer workflows, deployment reliability, and day-to-day productivity
- Collaborate with platform and application engineers to identify friction points and implement incremental improvements
- Apply best practices around Infrastructure-as-Code, containerized workloads, and CI/CD pipelines
- Use or adopt AI-assisted development tools and help explore and integrate LLM-powered solutions for internal support and operational workflows
- Propose ideas and improvements with support and mentorship from the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of software development and infrastructure experience with significant contributions
- Experience with AWS or other cloud-based providers
- Experience with container orchestration, CI/CD, or production observability
- Ability to debug systems, understand how things work, and improve reliability over time
- Ability to break down problems and implement solutions with guidance
- Strong developer empathy and care about improving the developer experience
