About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the supervised Accounts Payable team(s)
  • Ensure delivery of services according to the GSSC’s Service Level Agreements and/or KPIs
  • Monitor team KPI/SLA performance and prepare timely, accurate monthly management reports
  • Prepare, review, and discuss business reports for supported divisions and offices
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, performance appraisals, and individual development plans
  • Maintain a sound resiliency plan, including backup systems and updated process documentation
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and counterparts
  • Ensure internal controls comply with IFRS, company policies and procedures, applicable GAAP, and statutory requirements
  • Handle migration, improvement, and other business initiative projects as assigned
  • Participate in the initial assessment and final Hiring Manager interview process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any business-related courses
  • At least 6 years combined working experience
  • 4 years of experience in a particular process area
  • 2 years of experience in an SSC setting
  • Experience in process migration is a plus
  • Experience in process improvement
  • PMP, PRINCE, or Six Sigma is an advantage
  • Attach an updated copy of your CV
  • Predictive Index test is part of the application process
