About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver daily goals
  • Work with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Operations Leaders to drive results
  • Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area
  • Implement process improvements and workload-efficiency mechanisms
  • Use workload-planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload and fulfill orders to standards
  • Investigate discrepancies and variances
  • Perform to quality standards across multiple functions
  • Perform additional assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of two to four years’ experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in a high-volume facility
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • Basic clerical and data entry skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to transport up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Attention to important details with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to build solid, effective working relationships
  • Ability to work under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines
  • Ability to effectively use relevant material handling equipment, including forklifts
  • Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying heights, temperatures, and moderate, consistent noise levels
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (bonus)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (bonus)
  • Experience with process improvements, including Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen (bonus)
