About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals
Work closely with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Operations Leaders to drive results
Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area
Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms
Utilize workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload and ensure orders meet standards
Investigate discrepancies and variances
Perform to quality standards in multiple functions
Support execution of processes and procedures related to inventory accuracy
Perform warehouse bin accuracy and maintain inventory shrink
Utilize the Order Management System and material handling equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of two to four years’ experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in a high-volume facility
Previous leadership experience
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
Basic clerical and data entry skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to transport up to 20 lbs.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others
Ability to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines
Ability to effectively use relevant material handling equipment (i.e forklifts)
Ability to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information
Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying heights, temperatures, and moderate, consistent noise levels
Ability to work occasional non-standard hours or overtime as business requires
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with process improvements (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen)
