About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Facilities Manager and Operations team with maintenance and repair tasks
  • Ensure production and facility equipment remains in proper working condition
  • Work with downstream and secondary packaging equipment, including case packers, wrappers, palletizers, printers, and conveyor systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Maintain high standards of facility cleanliness, functionality, and safety
  • Interact with third-party facility and maintenance vendors
  • Support operational roles and perform other assigned duties
  • Help ensure the warehouse and distribution facility operates smoothly and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of general warehouse expectations for safety and teamwork
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and safe, proper usage
  • Understanding of LOTO, PPE, and other maintenance-related safety items
  • Aptitude and willingness to be certified to operate operations-related PIT
  • Aptitude and willingness to operate maintenance-related equipment such as scissor lifts
  • Ability to work aloft at 35–40 feet
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and process systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures and manuals
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of pump systems, plumbing, and air compressors
  • Ability to adhere to strict safety procedures
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (bonus)
  • Additional certifications related to facility maintenance or equipment operation (bonus)
