Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of product design experience
  • At least 3 years designing consumer-facing digital products
  • Deep UX and UI craft across the full design lifecycle
  • Portfolio showing leadership of complex problems from ambiguity to shipped outcomes
  • Deep understanding of consumer psychology, behavior patterns, and expectations
  • Experience creating responsive experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Proven ability to run generative and evaluative research, combine research with analytics, and turn insights into design and product direction
  • Experience shaping and stewarding significant portions of a design system
  • Working knowledge of WCAG and a track record of championing inclusive design
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and component libraries
  • Literacy in AI tools as part of the design process and appetite to learn tools such as Claude and Claude Design
  • Experience owning design quality across a product domain or multiple features at once, with minimal direction
  • Record of influencing product direction and roadmap decisions through design
  • Experience mentoring other designers through feedback and pairing, and raising the bar in critiques
  • Comfort advocating for users with evidence in cross-functional discussions
  • Ability to communicate consumer emotional journeys through storytelling
  • Ability to collaborate technically with engineering teams
  • Understanding of e-commerce flows, order management, and post-purchase journeys, or ability to learn quickly
  • High-fidelity design execution ready for engineering handoff
  • Experience designing white-label or multi-tenant applications is advantageous
  • Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments is advantageous
  • Portfolio showing measurable improvements in conversion, completion, or satisfaction metrics is advantageous
