About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help developers, partner agencies, and customers understand Storyblok and implement headless architectures
  • Conduct workshops, write tutorials and documentation, attend webinars, record instructional videos, and give product demos
  • Write sample applications, prototypes, and code samples
  • Identify and document missing pieces and technical issues in Storyblok APIs, SDKs, and services
  • Help external developers overcome missing functionalities or technical issues
  • Contribute code updates and bug fixes to public open-source projects, including SDKs, sample applications, and starter kits
  • Propose new or enhanced Headless CMS features based on customer and developer-community interactions
  • Monitor, engage with, and support the community on Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Dev.to
  • Represent Storyblok at online and in-person events and public-speaking opportunities
  • Help guide the documentation, tutorials, and onboarding roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in web development
  • Experience with CMS in general; experience with Headless CMS is a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of consuming RESTful APIs; GraphQL APIs is a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework, such as Vue, React, Next, Nuxt, Astro, or Svelte
  • Experience with public speaking
  • Experience organizing meetups or other events
  • Good problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Good communication skills for interaction with multiple stakeholders and across departments
  • Confidence, attention to detail, and high motivation to contribute to organizational growth
  • Passionate and highly knowledgeable about advanced web development topics and latest trends
  • AI literacy and ability to leverage AI tools with sound judgment and critical thinking
