About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reconcile vendor accounts, identify discrepancies, and determine corrective actions
  • Verify information used in accounting transactions and determine proper accounting treatment
  • Coordinate and process employee payroll
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval
  • Enter invoices into the accounting system and maintain vendor files
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments
  • Manage vendor and employee inquiries
  • Prepare and process electronic payments
  • Maintain employee payroll-related data, including timecards and employee information
  • Address payroll questions and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Assist with audits
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma
  • Experience coordinating and processing employee payroll, including calculations of wages, overtime and deductions
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws such as FLSA
  • Experience managing timecards and updating employee information
  • Experience processing and verifying vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval
  • Experience entering invoices into an accounting system and maintaining vendor files
  • Experience reconciling accounts payable transactions and ensuring timely, accurate vendor payments
  • Experience managing vendor inquiries and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Experience preparing and processing electronic payments
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage time, multiple priorities, and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with integrity
  • Prior experience processing in Paycom preferred
  • Must be able to sit, stand, talk, and hear for extended periods
  • Requires use of hands for computer, phone, and office equipment
  • Requires close vision for reading, computer work, and documents
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to bend, kneel, or reach as needed
  • Ability to travel to company locations or job sites as required
  • Successful applicants must complete a background check, including criminal history, and a drug screening before employment
