About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently process UK payroll end to end according to defined standards and client requirements
Monitor and manage ticket queues using appropriate BI tools
Utilize the hrX suite of tools for payroll processing and associated activities
Understand and interpret payslips
Understand and follow the payroll calendar
Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and support change request opportunities
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Produce and understand standard and client-specific payroll reports, including statutory year-end reporting
Review and validate data and initiate corrections
Answer payroll-related questions and requests
Support and execute SOC1 Controls
Maintain and apply defined work instructions
Perform transactions with third parties
Provide knowledge transfers to peers
Support the Root Cause Analysis process
Support and manage system maintenance testing
Support technical issue coordination and resolution
Maintain current knowledge of legislation requirements, system updates, changes, and payroll procedures
Participate in assigned projects and activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment
HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred
Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal skills
Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures
Successful completion of background checks, where permitted by law and as appropriate for the role
