About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support multiple Finance functions through a rotational analyst program
- Prepare financial models and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and provide insights
- Support budgeting processes
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare accounting reports for management
- Support internal controls documentation and compliance
- Collect, process, and clean data from different sources
- Develop visualizations and reports
- Analyze operational data and provide insights
- Transfer skills learned in each rotational stop to other Finance areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field required
- Completion of internship with SEI is highly recommended
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
- Access information using a computer
- Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain
- Effectively cope with stressful situations
- Strong mental acuity
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Understanding of financial statements and GAAP
- Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, functions, and financial modeling
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, interpret complex information, and make informed decisions
- Attention to detail when analyzing data, preparing reports, or reconciling accounts
- Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts, present findings, and collaborate with colleagues
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
