About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage Information Security Analysts monitoring, triaging, and responding to security alerts and incidents
  • Serve as an escalation point and participate in incident response for rapid containment and resolution
  • Establish a culture of urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Improve detection, response processes, playbooks, tooling, and operational effectiveness
  • Partner with Development, IT, Product, Operations, HR, Accounting, and Marketing leaders to implement the enterprise Information Security strategy
  • Own and manage key components of the Information Security program
  • Translate strategic security objectives into roadmaps, initiatives, and measurable outcomes
  • Support teams in addressing security risks and strengthening security practices
  • Monitor emerging vulnerabilities and threats and support timely remediation
  • Operationalize Information Security policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Support operation of the ISMS aligned with NIST, SOC, SOX, and COBIT frameworks
  • Manage internal and external audits, security questionnaires, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and audit readiness
  • Develop security metrics and reporting on program effectiveness and maturity
  • Report insights and escalate risks and gaps to senior leadership and governance committees
  • Lead initiatives improving security controls, processes, and operational maturity
  • Oversee and mature Security Awareness and Training
  • Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program maturity
  • Monitor threats, risks, and regulatory trends and communicate impacts to leadership
  • Mentor and develop Information Security Analysts
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning
  • Communicate security risks and priorities to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Represent and reinforce the organization’s values and culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in Information Security with demonstrated leadership across multiple security disciplines
  • Experience in security incident response, security operations/SOC leadership, GRC, business continuity and disaster recovery, security awareness and training, security administration or controls management, and regulatory and audit oversight
  • Experience leading analysts responsible for monitoring and responding to security alerts
  • Proven ability to drive operational improvements and hold teams accountable for results
  • Hands-on experience supporting audits, completing security questionnaires, and gathering evidence
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • CISSP, CCSP, or CISM certification
  • Must be able to travel occasionally as business needs arise
  • Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location may be required based on role
  • If offsite or hybrid, access to a suitable remote work setting with privacy, reliable internet, phone, and video conferencing
  • Ability to meet critical thinking and problem-solving requirements and communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
  • Able to access information using a computer
