About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Teach assigned courses using a pre-designed curriculum and professional expertise
Enhance curriculum effectiveness through technology and videos
Use the online learning platform to enrich student learning
Support students via email, phone, text, and assigned office hours
Provide timely, high-quality feedback
Establish evaluation standards and ensure students understand assessment criteria
Adhere to University policies and procedures
Attend required faculty meetings, workshops, and training
Serve as a coach and mentor while building faculty-student relationships and classroom community

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctorate in Education with coursework/experience in Edtech and Instruction
All degrees must be conferred and from an accredited institution
Professional certification in discipline specialty, if applicable
Teaching experience at the college level strongly preferred
Online teaching experience strongly preferred
Canvas teaching experience
Experience teaching Learning Theories (K-12), Integrating Tech into Education, K-12 Curriculum/Design/Development, Public Policy Influence in Education, Instructional Methods, and Design for Personal Learning
Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology
Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation
Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing course objectives
Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage potentially stressful situations professionally and ethically
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to lift 1 lb
Mobility within the office includes movement from floor to floor
Ability to access information using a computer
Strong mental acuity
