About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow Stripe’s relationships with existing users by identifying new use cases, expanding product adoption, and helping users realize greater value from Stripe’s financial infrastructure
  • Develop deep understanding of users’ business models, product roadmaps, technical environments, and growth priorities
  • Build multi-year account strategies, uncover whitespace, and lead complex expansion opportunities from discovery through activation and revenue realization
  • Identify and lead Issuing and Treasury expansion opportunities across existing Stripe users
  • Build and execute strategic account plans connecting user priorities with Stripe products and capabilities
  • Develop relationships with executive, commercial, product, and technical stakeholders
  • Lead customer discovery, product discussions, business-case development, commercial negotiations, and deal strategy
  • Partner with core Account Executives on account strategy, executive relationships, opportunity ownership, and sequencing
  • Help users expand into new business units, geographies, products, and embedded-finance use cases
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through solution design, pricing, contracting, implementation, activation, and growth
  • Serve as an internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe Issuing and Treasury
  • Work with Product and Engineering to synthesize user feedback and inform roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • Create scalable go-to-market playbooks, AI-supported workflows, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and use data and AI tools to prioritize opportunities and improve performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of customer-facing sales experience at a leading technology, financial infrastructure, fintech, or payments company
  • Experience with issuing or treasury focused products is a plus
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a complex B2B sales environment
  • Experience growing existing customer relationships through cross-sell, upsell, product adoption, or account expansion
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities involving executives, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other teams
  • Strong commercial judgment, including developing business cases, articulating value, structuring deals, and leading negotiations
  • Ability to understand sophisticated technical products and explain them clearly to business and technical audiences
  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with senior business leaders
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence cross-functional partners without direct authority
  • Entrepreneurial approach and comfort operating independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and account-planning skill
