About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Global People Operations participation in recurring compliance audits, including SOX, HR security controls, and external audits
  • Coordinate audit evidence gathering, manage timelines, and serve as the People Operations point of contact for audit teams across multiple concurrent cycles
  • Recommend data-driven enhancements to HR processes and workflows
  • Interpret data and formulate insights to drive continuous operational improvements and enhance the employee experience
  • Track and execute recurring compliance filings; maintain filing calendars and monitor global regulatory changes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and Centers of Excellence, including Procurement, Employment Legal, and Employee Relations
  • Maintain Workday HRIS accuracy and integrity through manual employee change transactions and bulk data uploads
  • Create and update end-to-end Standard Operating Procedures documenting system interactions and cross-functional handoffs
  • Manage compliance vendor relationships, including contract renewals, SLA oversight, and service transitions
  • Navigate ambiguity, determine appropriate courses of action, and communicate systemic blockers clearly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, People Operations, or employment law support, with direct ownership of compliance obligations
  • Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices across the employee lifecycle
  • Experience managing or supporting external audits, including evidence gathering and cross-functional coordination
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with Workday, specifically data accuracy and management
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar ticketing system
  • Working knowledge of US employment compliance requirements: I-9/E-Verify, EEO-1 filing, state pay equity reporting, and labor law posting requirements
  • Experience driving operational improvements and contributing to significant program delivery
  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with COEs such as Legal, ER, and People Partners to resolve complex employee issues
  • Written and verbal English communication skills, including translating regulatory requirements into plain-language SOPs and stakeholder updates
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Preferred: data fluency, AI fluency, experience with SOX controls/internal audits/global compliance frameworks, vendor management experience, familiarity with international employment compliance, and experience building or improving global HR compliance program infrastructure
