About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Global Scale Partner Marketing strategy and team
  • Directly manage a global scale marketing team of 6 and 15–20 contracted marketing coordinators through a dotted-line reporting relationship
  • Define the scaled operating model and partner marketing investment model across to-, through-, and with-partner marketing functions
  • Develop and lead strategy and execution for partner communications, Stripe-led events, Partner Advisory Board, online and field events, campaign content, partner program strategy, partner journeys, market development funds, and incentive design
  • Build a new integrated partner marketing function and deliver a shared global service across multiple Global Partner Segments
  • Develop and scale global and local partner marketing growth plans while innovating approaches to maximize ROI
  • Generate demand, accelerate go-to-market pipeline, and strengthen partner relationships globally
  • Lead partner value propositions, editorial calendars, omnichannel tactics, and governance processes
  • Lead partner strategy for Stripe Sessions, Stripe Tour, tier-one industry events, and the Partner Advisory Board program
  • Develop global online and regional event engines, capacity models, and event calendars
  • Develop partner co-marketing materials aligned with Stripe’s campaign roadmap and partner usage data
  • Develop partner journeys by partner type and tier across the lifecycle and lead branding and marketing of the Stripe Partner Ecosystem
  • Develop, implement, and manage MDF and incentive programs and partner benefits programs
  • Manage, coach, and develop partner marketers; build an inclusive, accountable culture and leadership capability
  • Build senior stakeholder relationships and resolve cross-functional tradeoffs, resourcing gaps, and execution blockers
  • Establish measurement and learning practices and share insights on customer acquisition, activation, and partner impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of relevant B2B partner marketing experience
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience, including managing managers and building teams of 5+ people
  • Experience working as part of a global marketing team with execution across different regions
  • Proven ability to influence and guide the partner’s marketing leadership team to align on objectives and deliver against joint marketing priorities and plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrating leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience shaping value proposition and messaging framework
  • Demonstrated experience measuring and improving ROI of marketing investments through marketing engines
  • Deep understanding of the user journey through and with a partner channel and funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle
  • Superb organization and project management skills; capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing distributed teams across different time zones
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
  • Preferred: experience in payments, financial technology, adjacent industries, or marketing FinTech solutions
  • Preferred: experience at a highly dynamic, high-growth tech company
  • Preferred: experience with demand generation marketing or product marketing
