About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create new capital opportunities by understanding evolving customer needs at Executive level
- Develop value-added solutions and coordinate internal and external stakeholders for the ENT portfolio
- Take a strategic view of the external health landscape with specialist focus on capital-selling opportunity management and delivery
- Drive profitable, sustainable revenue growth within and across divisions
- Reduce complexity and enhance customer experience
- Report to the Business Unit Manager
- Coordinate with divisional stakeholders to build strong customer relationships in targeted accounts
- Ensure cross-divisional collaboration, resource optimization and organizational communication
- Develop short-, mid- and long-term business plans for the division and customers
- Identify and develop unique selling propositions, pricing strategies and differentiators
- Implement and drive capital sales opportunities and advance Stryker’s portfolio and distribution channels
- Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial Services, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Clinical teams
- Identify, select and prioritize strategic targeted accounts
- Interface with hospitals, GPOs, insurance companies and public administration at Executive level
- Consult Commercial Services, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Clinical, Medical Education and R&D functions
- Identify customer strategic priorities, understand needs and lead value-added solutions
- Champion cross-divisional collaboration and identify opportunities for accelerated growth
- Align strategic accounts, opportunities and business solutions across divisions through the “One Stryker” approach
- Act as the main divisional contact for relevant cross-divisional opportunities
- Share best practices and communicate projects, opportunities and solutions with internal leaders across divisions and countries
- Support country organization with pipeline management
- Leverage internal networks to maximize the “One Stryker” approach
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Experience of capital selling into both the NHS and private sector
- Demonstrated expertise with CRM systems
- Experience in tender/contract management
- Demonstrated success in leading teams through influence and not authority
- Documented success in relationship building with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Preference for multiple years of experience in the listed areas
- Valid UK driver’s licence
- Ability to engage customers at Executive level (KOLs, Hospital Director, C-suite) within the healthcare environment, particularly in a procurement-regulated environment
- Strong ability to navigate complexity and negotiate large-scale cross-divisional deals
- Ability to influence, communicate and cascade relevant information within a matrix environment
- Strong understanding and application of legal and ethical standards, including applicable competition and anti-bribery laws and industry codes of practice
