About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and contribute to Foot & Ankle business growth in the assigned territory
  • Cover surgical cases and ensure products are available for surgeon use
  • Instruct surgeons on product use and functionality
  • Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on Stryker products, updates, portfolio changes, and educational programs
  • Contact customers to identify sales opportunities, provide customer service, and develop relationships
  • Identify prospect needs and develop appropriate responses
  • Tailor promotional messages, advise on product selection, answer functionality questions, and differentiate Stryker products from competitors
  • Perform field calls within assigned accounts and territory
  • Assist with sales plans, marketing strategies, and achievement of business targets
  • Serve as primary backup contact for Sales Representatives
  • Assist with account problem resolution
  • Manage inventory and build appropriate product sets
  • Acquire and process customer purchase orders for invoicing
  • Market Foot & Ankle products and monitor industry, customer, and competitive trends
  • Attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular business hours
  • Maintain confidentiality, ethical conduct, compliance, and adherence to applicable laws and company policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR
  • Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) plus at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience; OR
  • High School Diploma plus at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience; OR
  • 4+ years of active duty military service
  • Ability to travel 20%
  • Adherence to regulatory compliance, AdvaMed principles, applicable laws and company policies
  • Field-based work involving customer accounts and surgical cases
  • COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on customer requirements
