About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise and coach managers on HR- and business-related matters within a global matrix organization.
- Develop and implement initiatives focused on employee retention, talent development and advancement, change management, and increasing employee engagement.
- Lead and contribute to local and international HR projects.
- Optimize existing HR processes with a focus on efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Implement and sustainably apply proven best practices.
- Build a trusted partnership with the works council to jointly develop sustainable solutions.
- Shape and promote an innovative, employee-centric workplace culture within a globally operating company.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in HR, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic and operational HR, ideally in an international environment.
- In-depth knowledge of German labor law and experience working with works councils.
- Experience handling complex HR-related matters.
- A high degree of ownership, a solution-oriented approach, and proactive thinking and action.
- Strong facilitation, consulting, relationship management, empathy, and influencing skills.
- Ability to analyze complex matters, present them clearly, communicate effectively with managers and employees, and assess them appropriately based on the situation.
- Excellent German and English skills at a minimum C1 level.
- Experience contributing to change initiatives, optimizing processes, and implementing modern HR initiatives preferred.
- Experience working in international corporations with a matrix structure and a global HR service delivery model preferred.
