About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support robotic and manual joint replacement procedures with JR/MPS teams
  • Manage scans and schedules in RepSuite across multiple territories
  • Cover employee leaves of absence and other business needs
  • Report directly to the Senior Manager, LEAP and work alongside local Mako Managers, JR Sales Managers, and GMs
  • Assist and train with local JR teams when not deployed
  • Execute necessary clinical functions with local teams
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Mako robotic systems, functionalities, clinical applications, manual joint replacement instrumentation, and implants
  • Serve as a clinical resource by providing insights, training, and support to healthcare professionals
  • Deliver customer experiences for surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff during deployments
  • Ensure healthcare teams are proficient in MAKO technology and understand clinical benefits and program resources
  • Provide clinical inquiry, troubleshooting, and technical support for Mako and manual instrumentation and implants
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospital staff, internal team members, and potential new customers
  • Understand customer needs and advocate for customers within Stryker
  • Ensure clinical practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
  • Assist in maintaining product integrity and safety
  • Travel for field assignments lasting from approximately two weeks to three months or more

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree or equivalent required
  • MAKO certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with MAKO robotic applications and joint replacement manual instruments and implants
  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgery and robotic-assisted surgical technology and applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
  • Ability to train and empower others with responsibilities during deployment
  • Ability to handle routine travel, often on short notice, for months at a time
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work across the 48 continental United States
  • Willingness and ability to travel 90%
