About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and sell Stryker Emergency Care products, including Emergency Patient Transport, Defibrillators, AEDs, and Chest Compression systems, to pre-hospital providers
- Achieve assigned quota through consultative pre-hospital sales, marketing, clinical activities, and product demonstrations
- Build and maintain customer relationships with fire chiefs, medical directors, clinical instructors, and administrators
- Address customer inquiries, negotiate pricing, and manage orders
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts
- Position Stryker products effectively in the marketplace
- Provide responsive customer service and solve problems through a consultative approach
- Reduce costs and ensure on-time, complete, error-free shipments
- Monitor sales performance and exceed targets
- Collaborate with marketing and support teams to drive business growth
- Become an Emergency Care subject-matter expert
Requirements
What you’ll need- Continue experience in sales or clinical setting
- High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record
- Ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling
- Eye, hand, and foot movement coordination
- Ability to grasp by hand
- Visual and auditory discrimination/memory
- Reading ability and memory retention
- Ability to handle materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, rubber, metals, and coated products
- Experience with reports and budget, customer service, and project management
- Basic knowledge of market research, new product introduction, Profit and Loss (P&L) management, and field testing
- Ability to travel approximately 60%
