About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote and sell Stryker Emergency Care products, including Emergency Patient Transport, Defibrillators, AEDs, and Chest Compression systems, to pre-hospital providers.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota through consultative pre-hospital sales, marketing, clinical activities, and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with fire chiefs, medical directors, clinical instructors, administrators, and other customers.
  • Become an Emergency Care expert and understand competitor offerings.
  • Address customer inquiries, negotiate pricing, and manage orders.
  • Provide responsive customer service and solve customer problems using a consultative approach.
  • Ensure on-time, complete, and error-free shipments and support cost reduction.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, regulatory shifts, and market developments.
  • Manage reports, budgets, customer service, projects, market research, new product introductions, P&L activities, and field testing.
  • Monitor performance and collaborate with marketing and support teams to drive business growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Continue experience in sales or clinical setting.
  • High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
  • Ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, push, or pull equipment.
  • Ability to perform prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling.
  • Eye, hand, and foot coordination; ability to grasp by hand.
  • Cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention.
  • Ability to handle materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, rubber, metals, and coated products.
  • Ability to travel 30%.
