About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the face of Stryker Sports Medicine products and act as a sales lead
- Prepare for and participate in sales pitches and demo meetings
- Work with cross-divisional sales representatives to create strategic goals and targets
- Participate in trade shows
- Analyze market territory
- Manage inventory reports
- Negotiate prices and transaction terms
- Solve product problems for customers
- Educate doctors, nurses, and staff personnel on product use and maintenance
- Direct product evaluations in operating room or office settings
- Promote and sell Stryker Sports Medicine products
- Train doctors on product usage
- Help improve patient care and recovery from sports-related injuries
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-5 years of experience working in an outside sales position (medical related fields preferred)
- A minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience including operating room experience
- Must be able to drive an automobile
- Confident communication and persuasive sales abilities
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external contacts
- Ability to exceed quarterly sales quotas
- Product knowledge and guidance capabilities
- Travel Percentage: 20%
