About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex enterprise initiatives that enhance portfolio visibility, governance maturity, resource optimization, and strategic execution across multiple business functions
- Influence senior business and technology leaders to prioritize strategic investments, align resources, and execute enterprise digital transformation initiatives
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, timelines, and workstreams to deliver strategic objectives and business outcomes
- Establish and evolve portfolio governance frameworks providing executive leadership with insights into project performance, resource capacity, strategic priorities, risks, and investment decisions
- Lead adoption and maturity of enterprise portfolio management capabilities, including processes, data standards, reporting frameworks, and best practices
- Facilitate executive portfolio reviews, governance forums, and prioritization discussions with data-driven recommendations and strategic insights
- Identify and manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; implement mitigation and contingency strategies
- Lead enterprise change management strategies driving adoption of new tools, governance models, and operating practices across multiple business units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex programs, enterprise initiatives, or digital transformation efforts within a regulated industry
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale technology implementations, portfolio management platforms, business process transformations, or enterprise digital initiatives
- Experience leading cross-functional programs involving business stakeholders, information technology teams, project management offices, and executive leadership
- Experience implementing structured change management approaches to support adoption of enterprise tools, systems, or processes
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), PMI-ACP, Prosci, or similar certification
- Preferred: Experience with Planview, Enterprise Portfolio Management, Capacity Planning, or Strategic Portfolio Management practices
- Preferred: Experience leading enterprise business transformation, PMO transformation, portfolio governance maturity, or organizational capability development initiatives
- Preferred: Experience within medical device, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated industries
- Preferred: Experience supporting Agile, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Preferred candidates located near a Stryker facility; remote candidates may be considered if aligned to a Stryker office location and appropriate time zone
