About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage events for franchises in country
Manage the entire operational processes related to events
Develop, maintain, and improve Franchise/HCP satisfaction
Maximize cost efficiency, particularly around flights and logistics
Ensure adherence to changing compliance regulations within Europe
Liaise with business units, compliance, finance, and other major business functions at local, European, and/or cross-divisional levels
Deal directly with sales force and product managers regarding regular event reviews
Work with required virtual event platforms
Liaise regularly with event owners regarding current and future events
Ensure HCPs are invited using the correct country-specific compliance process
Ensure HCP information is stored effectively in line with GDPR and compliance policies
Review processes regularly and implement regulatory and compliance policy updates
Manage supplier accounts
Support event invoicing and timely payments
Coordinate event logistics and timely booking of flights, hotels, and related travel
Monitor and achieve KPIs
Maintain continuous improvement of customer service
Build and maintain relationships with other functions and drive leverage opportunities
Implement and apply compliance, SOX, FCPA, and quality policies in event planning
Travel requirement: 30%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Third level qualification
2+ years’ event management/project planning experience
Confidence with virtual event platforms and their features
Fluent English + fluent Dutch/French
Good Excel working knowledge
Good problem-solving skills
Flexibility to support business needs for events
Understanding of customers, regulatory and legislative issues when making decisions
Ability to accomplish project objectives and establish appropriate goals and priorities
Evidence of objective measurement of achievements
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients/customer groups
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter able to define priorities and manage multiple projects
Proactive and independent personality; able to manage workload and prioritize appropriately
Strong internal drive and motivation
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: Work experience in a Medical Device company
Preferred: Knowledge of MedTech Europe Compliance
Preferred: CAPS contract management system
