About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell Stryker Trauma products that meet customers’ needs
  • Become the resident trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals
  • Organize materials and quickly sort possible solutions during operating room and emergency room consultations
  • Manage and maintain product inventory
  • Assist customers whenever trauma cases arise
  • Develop knowledge of Stryker products and competitors’ offerings
  • Provide advice and training to surgeons on products and tools used to save lives
  • Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required
  • Support trauma cases through an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel approximately 30%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.)
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships; relationships with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial
  • Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
  • Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
  • Must adhere to compliance and AdvaMed principles of responsibility
  • Must maintain privacy and confidentiality of information, protect organizational assets, act with ethics and integrity, report non-compliance, and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and company policies and procedures
  • Must be available for an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel requirement: 30%
