About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and edit existing college-level Health Informatics course structure and materials
- Evaluate and adjust recommended updates to existing course structure
- Review course learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment with current health informatics standards
- Edit skill-oriented course sections and organize topics such as electronic health records, health data management, and healthcare IT systems
- Review and refine response assignment prompts and rubrics
- Evaluate existing multiple-choice questions for quality and accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree or higher in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Health IT, Biomedical Informatics, or a closely related field
- Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting
- Experience creating, updating, or revising courses at a college or university level
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare data systems, electronic health records (EHR), and health information technology
- Strong time management skills to meet due dates (preferred)
- Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work as needed (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with curriculum designers to create high-quality course deliverables (preferred)
