About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own design and frontend end to end, from customer problem to shipped code across the Stuut dashboard and payer-facing experiences
Design how AI agent actions, reasoning, approvals, and audit trails are presented so finance teams trust automation
Make invoices, disputes, payment plans, cash application, and customer hierarchies scannable and fast
Own Stuut's component library, design tokens, and interaction patterns
Create working prototypes for customer validation before committing engineering time
Join calls with collectors, AR managers, and controllers and use product analytics to guide decisions
Own post-launch craft, accessibility, performance, empty/loading/error states, instrumentation, and edge cases
Use coding agents daily to prototype and ship quickly while testing and debugging their output
Work with engineers and the Product Manager across product surfaces
Report to the Head of Product & Design

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong production experience with React and TypeScript
Comfortable working in a large existing codebase
Strong visual and interaction design skills
Experience making complex, data-dense B2B products clear
Comfortable reasoning about APIs, data models, and implementation details
Uses customer research and product data to make decisions
Uses coding agents daily and can explain and stand behind their output
Experience at a fast-growing startup with high ownership and incomplete information
Portfolio showing work identified, designed, built, shipped, and learned from
No specific educational background required
Nice to have: experience designing AI agent or copilot experiences
Nice to have: experience in fintech, B2B payments, ERP, or AR/AP workflows
Nice to have: experience building a design system or component library
Nice to have: experience designing data visualization or operational dashboards
Nice to have: experience building enterprise configuration surfaces
