About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own lifecycle end to end: onboarding, activation, product-update, upgrade, and re-engagement flows for self-serve signups, API and MCP users, and event attendees.
  • Design and ship referral and other compounding loops that turn existing users into new users and pipeline.
  • Build automated, instrumented growth systems triggered by product and account signals; maintain a clean, deliverable email stack connected to the CRM.
  • Own paid acquisition across LinkedIn, search, retargeting, and other channels, including strategy, targeting, creative testing, budget pacing, and cost per pipeline.
  • Use Sumble's account intelligence to target relevant accounts and people and prove performance with holdouts and pipeline data.
  • Direct agency and freelance partners and decide what to outsource, bring in-house, or automate.
  • Own marketing GTM systems: lead routing and booking, enrichment, website visitor identification, UTMs, conversion tracking, and dashboard data.
  • Own attribution from first touch to closed-won and partner on Salesforce campaign architecture, lead/contact flow, and funnel definitions.
  • Prototype internal GTM tools using Sumble's data and API; ship valuable tools, retire ineffective ones, and document retained systems.
  • Own the website as a growth surface, including information architecture, conversion paths, signup/demo flows, pricing-page and landing-page experiments.
  • Run a standing conversion-test program and determine what to test, how to measure it, and what ships.
  • Ship pages and website changes without waiting in an engineering queue.
  • Run weekly tests across paid, lifecycle, web, and product-adjacent surfaces with hypotheses, metrics, sample sizes, and kill dates.
  • Maintain a shared experiment log and report weekly on the funnel to founders and Sales.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in growth marketing, growth engineering, or a technical demand role at a B2B SaaS, data, or developer-tools company, ideally one with both self-serve and sales-led motions.
  • Engineering-fluent; comfortable working with product, engineering and development teams and experienced with heavy experimentation.
  • AI-native in practice; builds with LLMs and agents (Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, MCP or similar) and can show workflows or tools shipped and still used.
  • Highly experimental, with demonstrated tests designed, learnings, scaling decisions, and terminated experiments.
  • Owned paid media with real budget and understands cost per pipeline, not just CPC.
  • Built lifecycle or growth loops as systems and understands CRM data models (Salesforce or HubSpot), routing, and attribution well enough to fix them.
  • Makes data-driven decisions and explains them clearly to founders, Sales, and non-technical teammates.
  • Super IC operating style; prioritizes ruthlessly and works without waiting for permission.
  • Experience selling to technical GTM buyers: RevOps, GTM engineers, sales or marketing ops (nice-to-have).
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Clay, plus product analytics and experimentation platforms (nice-to-have).
  • Experience growing API or usage-based products, or developer adoption of a technical product (nice-to-have).
  • Production front-end experience: landing pages, signup flows, CMS builds (nice-to-have).
  • Public body of work such as repos, posts, or experiment teardowns (nice-to-have).
  • Ability to complete a practical project as part of the hiring process.
