About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the annual renewal of the Group's insurance programmes
- Coordinate data collection, stakeholder engagement, broker submissions, and management approvals
- Review insurance quotations, coverage structures, premiums, and policy terms
- Provide recommendations to senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee
- Act as the primary point of contact for insurance-related matters across the Group
- Review customer and supplier contracts and advise on insurance requirements
- Manage insurance claims activity with brokers and business stakeholders
- Build and maintain broker relationships
- Maintain insurance records, reporting, and governance processes
- Lead insurance process, reporting, and governance improvement initiatives
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions, and new business activities by assessing insurance implications
- Support Group Risk assessment with the Head of Internal Audit and Risk
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing multinational insurance programmes
- Experience managing insurance renewals, broker relationships, and claims
- Ability to review and interpret contractual insurance requirements
- Ability to advise on appropriate risk transfer arrangements
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Commercial mindset balancing risk, coverage, and cost considerations
- Professional insurance qualification (ACII or equivalent) desirable
