About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review vendor contracts for payment terms, auto-renewals, price indexation, penalties, minimum commitments, termination terms, and currency exposure
  • Negotiate discounts, improved pricing, extended payment terms, and flexible conditions with vendors
  • Work within the existing approval flow and maintain short contract-review turnaround times
  • Analyze company spend by category and identify duplicate tools, unused subscriptions, and cost-optimization opportunities
  • Track contract expiry dates and prepare renewals and renegotiations in advance
  • Suggest improvements to the approval flow, procurement policy, and spend thresholds
  • Own the contract approval and financial review area for the Finance team
  • Handle approximately 40 contracts per month across marketing, employee events, SaaS, and IT services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or financial control
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and building comparison models
  • Ability to read contracts and identify financial risks
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and a track record of delivering cost savings
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher
  • Experience working with international vendors across multiple currencies and jurisdictions
  • Ability to use LLMs and AI tools for contract review, spend analysis, and reporting
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and financial models
  • Experience with SaaS subscriptions, IT services, or licenses is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, DocuSign, Jira, or similar systems is a plus
