About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer HR Helpline calls and provide timely, professional support to team members
- Act as an initial escalation point and determine appropriate resolution paths
- Respond to inquiries according to established SLAs through phone, case management systems, and the Support Hub
- Provide answers and solutions for HR matters including payroll, background checks, new hire support, compensation, leaves of absence, separations, employee concerns, and administrative support
- Support HR Service Center, pre-employment, hiring, onboarding, and HR administration needs
- Ensure process excellence, compliance, and effective delivery of HR administrative programs
- Build relationships with HR Business Partners and other HR functional areas
- Educate team members on HR Shared Services resources and self-service tools such as Support Hub and Workday
- Process, enter, and approve Workday transactions while maintaining accurate employee data
- Document and escalate requests and inquiries as needed
- Interpret HR policies and escalate matters to appropriate departments
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and HR support resources
- Assist with transitioning HR administrative processes to the centralized HR Administration team
- Partner with HR, Operations, functional groups, and IT to transition and streamline processes
- Serve as liaison between HR teams and functional partners
- Support process controls and reporting to identify potential breakdowns
- Participate in HR initiatives, process improvements, and projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–5 years of HR Shared Services or relevant Human Resources experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong customer service orientation
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS/HRMS)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess urgency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately
- Proven discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information
- Ability to organize, analyze, summarize, and present data meaningfully
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Regular availability and ability to work 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time
- Ability to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
