About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Technically coordinate the Inspection Engineers team, organizing activities, meetings, and site visits
- Standardize inspection processes, measurement verification, non-conformance records, and reports
- Develop and monitor maintenance plans with contracted companies
- Oversee operation and maintenance, engineering, construction, plant expansion, and claims contracts
- Review service measurements, validating scopes, evidence, contractual compliance, and any applicable deductions
- Support technical negotiations, contractual enforcement, and warranty claims
- Lead failure analyses and technical diagnostics of photovoltaic equipment and systems
- Monitor generation, availability, and operational performance indicators for the plants
- Lead technical assessments for the incorporation of new assets into the portfolio
- Provide technical development for the team and propose process improvements using automation and Artificial Intelligence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering
- Active CREA registration, with electrical engineering credentials
- At least 6 years of experience in the power sector, including at least 4 years in the operation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic plants above 1 MWp
- Experience overseeing contracts, verifying service measurements, and managing service providers
- Experience coordinating technical teams
- Knowledge of electrical systems, photovoltaic equipment, and preventive and corrective maintenance
- Experience with claims, manufacturer warranties, or contractual claims
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical drawing interpretation, and advanced Excel
- Up-to-date NR-10 and NR-35 training certifications
- Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Asset Management, or a related field (a plus)
- Experience with SCADA systems and solar plant monitoring platforms (a plus)
- Knowledge of medium-voltage systems, primary substations, and trackers (a plus)
- Experience at asset management companies, investment funds, or in the distributed generation sector (a plus)
- Knowledge of Power BI, Python, and automation tools (a plus)
- Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to data analysis, controls, and process optimization (a plus)
