About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct analysis and quality assurance testing of eServices programs, services, policies, procedures, and processes
- Identify and eliminate non-value-added steps
- Plan and conduct analyses of problems or improvement opportunities
- Define needs by conferring with agency staff and outside entities
- Develop and conduct surveys; compile information; document and analyze findings; and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations
- Present recommendations to management and coordinate implementation
- Develop and conduct QA test plans
- Build QA testing plans and conduct systems testing and analysis
- Provide helpdesk services to internal customers, troubleshoot concerns, and provide consultation
- Stay current on taxation laws, regulations, policies, and best practices through research, industry membership, and continuing education
- Apply lean principles within the Arizona Management System
- Contribute to unit policies, procedures, and operational manuals
- Complete periodic metrics, projects, and reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Phoenix metro residency, with your city listed on your resume
- U.S. citizen or green card holder; no sponsorship
- W2 only; no C2C
- 1–2 years of management analysis experience
- XML proficiency, including Altova XMLSpy
- Quality assurance testing experience
- SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio
- Analysis of technology and information systems
- Strong analytical skills: collecting relevant data, organizing and synthesizing it into fundamental issues, identifying probable causes, and developing options and solutions
- Preferred: one or more years in tax-related service or administration
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in business, computer information systems, or a related field
- Preferred: Azure DevOps
- Ability to complete HireRight background check and drug screening
