About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare recurring daily, weekly, and monthly servicing reports covering volume, aging, delinquency, and productivity
Distribute recurring reports on schedule
Reconcile billing, payment, and remittance data between servicing, banking, and accounting systems
Research variances to resolution
Research data exceptions such as failed payments, unapplied cash, missing production data, and duplicate accounts
Coordinate corrections with the servicing team
Support investor and client reporting packages by gathering source data, populating templates, and performing accuracy checks
Maintain servicing-system data quality by running validation queries and clearing error queues
Document procedures, report definitions, and data sources
Assist with user acceptance testing for system enhancements, report changes, and new portfolio boarding
Respond to ad hoc data requests from Servicing, Asset Management, and Finance
Escalate anomalies, trends, and potential control issues to the Manager, Servicing
Follow established policies, procedures, and controls in reporting and data handling activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
0–2+ years’ related experience in analysis, reporting, servicing operations, accounting, or a similar data-oriented role; internship experience considered
Working Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
Ability to build and maintain a recurring report
Strong attention to detail
Comfort reconciling large data sets to the penny
Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining findings to non-analysts
Ability to meet recurring deadlines while handling ad hoc requests
Previous experience in solar, renewable energy, or another asset-backed consumer finance portfolio is a plus
Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and query tools
Coursework or experience in accounting, reconciliation, or financial reporting
Ability to ask questions early rather than guess at unclear data
Ability to check work and explain how a number was derived
Ability to learn new systems and reporting tools quickly
Ability to handle confidential customer and financial information with discretion
Occasional overtime may be required to meet month-end, billing cycle, and reporting deadlines
Extended periods of time working at a computer workstation
