About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and iterate on brand assets from early concepts to polished, on-brand deliverables, including illustrations
- Support projects from intake through delivery by staying organized, tracking deadlines, and keeping assigned work moving forward
- Partner with designers and cross-functional teams to clarify feedback and keep projects moving forward
- Use AI tools to work smarter and faster across design, including automating production of static ads and illustrations using brand guidelines
- Maintain the Brand Team’s asset library by updating assets, metadata, and tags to keep it organized and searchable
- Work closely with the Senior Brand Designer, Growth team, and cross-functional partners across Product, People & Talent, and other teams
- Contribute to real projects that ship and are used by customers and the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Portfolio of coursework showing visual design fundamentals with strong layouts and typography, with an interest in illustration
- Organized with strong attention to detail and able to take a project from start to finish with minimal support
- Clear, proactive communicator comfortable flagging blockers, asking questions, responding to feedback, and giving status updates
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
- Familiar with Figma
- Comfortable using AI design tools such as Higgsfield, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, and Claude for image generation, concepting, resizing, and iterating on assets
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada
- Minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone
- Available to work a 40-hour work week
- Available during core working hours of 9/10 am–5/6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, barring pre-approved time off
- Internship must be completed while residing in the country where the candidate's school is located
- Currently attending a college, university, or school
- Unofficial grade report required with application
- Internship must be part of an academic program or completed independently, as applicable
